Some teapots to celebrate the Friday of Homecoming week!  Students had to use multiple techniques to create a teapot.  Techniques used are the wheel, slabs (with our new slab roller), and pulled handles.

The top picture is K. S. and she used a repeating "X" pattern to lead the viewers eye across the surface of the pot.

Middle picture in M. H. knocking it out on the potters wheel.

Bottom picture is R. P. and her rooster teapot.

thank you and Archdiocese Convention

Thank You Mrs. Conway for helping me set up this blog and find the elusive spilling glue image.  Next step...pictures!

The Archdiocese of Omaha teacher convention was today.  There were two art presentations in the pottery room, mass with Archbishop Lucas and Monsignor Gilg, a lunch meeting with all the Omaha high school art teachers to plan our spring show, and an unexpected but really fun folk dancing workshop.
